Birdsmouth keeps what you enter on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in, no server of ours, no sync and no analytics.
Every measurement, ledger entry, label, solver result, job name and saved setting is written to storage on the device itself, and is read only by the app. None of it is transmitted anywhere. Nobody, whether us, an employer or a general contractor, can see your jobs or take them away from you. If you delete the app, or lose the phone, those jobs are gone.
The app requests no location, no camera, no contacts, no photos and no microphone, and it makes no network request of its own. It works with no signal because it has nothing to reach for.
Purchases, and nothing else. Birdsmouth uses Apple's App Store for payment and RevenueCat, Inc. as its purchase layer. To tell the app whether the unlock is active, RevenueCat receives the transaction and a randomly generated identifier for the installation. It never receives a measurement, a ledger entry, a job or any figure the app calculated: the app's purchase code cannot reach them. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple's handling of the payment itself is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.
Nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporter, no tracking, and no profile of you anywhere. We cannot identify you, and we hold no database of users. Nothing is sold or shared, because there is nothing to sell or share.
On iOS 18 and later you can put Birdsmouth on the Lock Screen or in Control Center. That control only opens the app. It reads nothing, stores nothing, and sends nothing.
Birdsmouth is a trade tool and is not directed at children. We knowingly collect nothing from anyone, of any age.
Because your jobs never leave your phone, you exercise them directly: clear a ledger or delete a job in the app, or delete the app to erase everything. There is nothing for us to hand over or delete on your behalf. For purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat, write to the address below and we will pass the request on.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous wording is superseded from that date.
